Katie has served as the Port’s Administrative Assistant since August 2024, supporting daily operations with administrative, organizational, and customer service expertise across departments. Before joining the Port, she worked as a personal banker, building strong skills in customer service, retention, and organization, and later spent eight years as a stay‑at‑home mom, experience that honed her adaptability, time management, and problem‑solving in ways no job description can fully capture. She loves the flexibility of the role, the chance to learn something new every day, and the positive, supportive environment where teamwork and growth are encouraged. Beyond work, Katie has been married to her husband, Mitchell, for 17 years, and they have three children who are deeply involved in sports, she jokes that if she seems calm at work, it’s because she’s already survived daily practices, games, and the occasional tournament weekend.
