Glenn plays a key role at the Port by keeping the marina in good operating condition and ensuring tenants have a safe, comfortable place to keep their vessels. With a background in construction, Glenn found the transition into marina maintenance smooth, as many of the tools and skills overlap. He enjoys working with the Port team and appreciates how well everyone collaborates.

The marine environment keeps the work interesting for Glenn there is always something new to learn, and no two days are the same. Many people may not realize that Glenn’s workweek runs through the weekend, with his days off falling on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Among the projects he’s been involved in, he is particularly proud of the dredge project completed by Bergerson at the west basin, which now allows the Port to fully utilize all slips during peak months.
