Stacy Bandy

Education: Stacy holds an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT) degree from Clatsop Community College and is certified as both a CESCL (Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead) and CISCL (Certified Industrial Stormwater Compliance Lead).
Role at the Port: As the Environmental Compliance & Permits Manager at the Port of Astoria, Stacy manages the Port’s industrial stormwater programs for the airport and central waterfront. She also develops and enforces environmental strategies, oversees permitting processes, and conducts compliance audits. Her work fosters cross-departmental collaboration to ensure sustainability and regulatory alignment.
Work History: Stacy brings over eight years of experience in the hospitality industry within National Parks. She spent five years at Yosemite National Park and most recently served as the Food & Beverage Manager at Yavapai Lodge in Grand Canyon, AZ. In May 2021, she joined the Port of Astoria as Executive Assistant before transitioning to her current role.
Family: Originally from Sacramento, California, Stacy has lived in several states throughout her career. She and her husband have now made their home in Astoria, along with their beloved cat.
Hobbies: Stacy enjoys exploring the area and discovering Astoria’s hidden paths. With a passion for travel and cultural discovery, she’s always seeking new perspectives. When not traveling, you’ll likely find her gardening rain or shine or curled up in a local coffee shop with a good book.
