Astoria, Oregon…..The Port of Astoria Commission is seeking applications from citizens of Clatsop County interested in serving on the Port of Astoria Budget Committee. Budget Committee members serve three-year terms. The Budget Committee is comprised of five Port Commissioners and five additional members from the Port District, appointed by the Port Commission. The Budget Committee meets semi-annually to review the Port’s financial records and holds meetings annually to receive the Port’s budget for the fiscal year, provide members of the public with an opportunity to ask questions and comment on the budget document, and to approve the Budget.
