The Port of Astoria offers boaters two mooring options - the WEST and EAST basins - located 14 and 15.6 miles, respectively, from the mouth of the Columbia River.
Both marinas are less than a mile from historic downtown Astoria. In addition to taxi and bus service, the Astoria Riverfront Trolley provides a unique transportation option to the downtown area, with its many shops and restaurants. For those who prefer to stretch their legs, a paved RiverWalk extends along much of the river front between the marinas and downtown. Full completion of this RiverWalk, which will connect the downtown areas with the East and West Basins, is slated for 2005.
Both the East and West Basins offer year-round, monthly, or daily moorage for recreational and commercial craft up to 100 feet. Please call or email for larger vessel moorage. Haul-out and boatyard facilities are adjacent to the West Basin at the Marine Service Center.
