Lewis & Clark National Historical Park is within 2 miles of the airport. The park features Fort Clatsop, a replica of the wintering-over camp of the Lewis & Clark expedition. You can visit Fort Stevens State Park, with its many campsites, bike trails, ocean beach, military museum and forts dating back to the Civil War. A small recreational swimming, boating and fishing lake is also close by.
